During enhanced patrols in the month of March, Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested 82 impaired drivers - an average of over two and a half DUII arrests each day.

A southern Oregon man was arrested for sexually abusing two teenagers in Washington County. One of the teenagers is developmentally disabled. Detectives believe there may be additional victims and are asking for the public’s help.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Beaverton Police Department, and Forest Grove Police Department are deploying medication in patrol vehicles to save the lives of those having an opioid drug overdose.

Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a single vehicle crash west of Hillsboro on SW 331st Avenue.  Upon arrival, they found a single vehicle had crashed into a tree.

Washington County Deputies arrested a man who burglarized a home while the resident was present. The man was subdued by the resident until deputies arrived. He was arrested and charged with multiple crimes.

The City of Cornelius, in partnership with Centro Cultural of Washington County, will provide a holiday dinner for members of the community in need. This hot meal will be offered at no cost and is expected to feed about 600 people.

Washington County Sheriff’s Property Crime Detectives are searching for the owners of stolen property recovered during a search warrant. Detectives are also searching for additional property that has yet to be recovered.

Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to a robbery at the Wells Fargo Bank located at 3435 SW 182nd Avenue in the community of Aloha. Deputies are still searching for the robber.

Daniel Rock was found guilty of child exploitation and luring. He was sentenced to 70 months in prison, ordered to register as a sex offender, have no contact with the victim, pay a $50,000 fine, and undergo sex offender training.
