Man Arrested for Menacing After Pointing Gun

On September 18, 2020, Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a disturbance in the 4800 block of SW Laurelwood Avenue in Raleigh Hills. A woman reported that she arrived home and saw a male in a car parked in her assigned parking spot. She told the male driver not to park there and asked him to leave. During their verbal exchange, the male pointed a black handgun at the woman.

Man Posed as Student Online, Arrested for Sex Abus

Over the past several months, two detectives from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Unit have been investigating 26-year-old Lafayette A. Castillo of Beaverton.  Detectives learned Mr. Castillo used Snapchat and Instagram to pose as a high school student so he could talk with children online. He then met children in person and sexually assaulted them.

Public’s Help Needed to Locate Missing Mother

<br />On Monday, October 21, 2019, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office was notified by concerned family members that 40-year-old Erin McClintock had not shown up for work in Hillsboro. She was last seen in the area of SW 185th Avenue and SW Kinnaman Road in Aloha just after 7:15 a.m. when she dropped her children off at school that morning.
