A concept design open house for the SW 121st Avenue improvement project will be 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, at Fowler Middle School, 10865 SW Walnut St.

An open house for the Cornelius Pass Road widening project will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, at RA Brown Middle School, 1505 SE Cornelius Pass Road.

The public is invited to a Meet the Contractor open house for the Elwert-Kruger Intersection Project from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, July 25, at Middleton Elementary School, 23505 SW Old Highway 99W.

Law Librarians now offering legal resource assistance on a monthly, walk-in basis at the Beaverton and Tigard Libraries.

Please be advised that programs including Environmental Health, Vital Records and WIC are all moving and will be closed to the public on certain days.

Construction begins on the 175th Avenue/Kemmer Road roundabout project on Monday, April 16. Intermittent daytime lane closures on 175th Avenue and Kemmer Road will begin 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays April 23 and continue through August 31.

Due to construction, many Health and Human Services staff and programs will be moving over the next several months. The first round of moves takes place the week of April 9-13, 2018.

The public is invited to comment on additional improvements to Springville Road at an open house 5-7 p.m. Feb. 28 at Portland Community College Rock Creek Campus Event Center, Building 9, 17705 NW Springville Road.

An open house for the planned safety improvements in the Reedville area will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24 at Reedville Elementary School, 2695 SW 209th Ave.

An open house showcasing the improvements planned for SW 198th Avenue will be 5-7 p.m. Dec. 6 at Edwards Aloha Community Center, 4375 SW Edwards Place.

West Shore Drive, north of Hankins Road, will close after Labor Day for landslide mitigation work.

SW 175th Avenue, between SW Kemmer Road and SW Scholls Ferry Road, is scheduled to be closed to through traffic July 5-Aug. 3 by Brian Clopton Excavating for construction of road improvements.

Walker Road, between 174th and Schendel avenues, will have lane closures 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. today through Friday, May 24-26.

Work to complete an environmental review of the proposed Clover Court homes near SW 170th and Bany Road continues this month with some contractor activity on the site. The Board of Commissioners has not yet scheduled a meeting to decide on a land transfer.

UPDATE: The Morgan Road closure has been delayed until May to allow the contractor to complete preliminary work. The eventual closure involve raising the grade of Morgan Road to meet the new Tonquin Road alignment, part of the 124th Avenue Project.

West Shore Drive has been weight limited to 10 tons at the Hankins slide due to further settlement of the road.

Record rain fall continues to delay construction of a roundabout at Jackson School, Meek and Scotch Church roads, requiring postponement of the final pouring concrete and paving. The closure of Meek and Scotch Church roads has been extended through May 1.
