Sara Moore was sentenced to 18 months in prison, license suspension, and fines after pleading guilty to a DUI-related crash. The crash, caused by Moore driving under the influence, seriously injured another person.

David Baynes was convicted of second-degree murder and unlawful weapon use for a September 2022 shooting fueled by jealousy. He was sentenced to life in prison with a minimum of 25 years. Baynes, a felon, shot the unarmed victim 15 times.

Bret Hollmann received a four-year prison sentence for assaulting his daughter and possessing fentanyl after she overdosed on the drug he purchased. He was also caught using fentanyl at the hospital. The DA cited this case to support Measure 110 reform.

Ana Mercedes Miranda received 100 months in prison for abusing children in her care, including severe physical and emotional mistreatment, and attempting to tamper with witnesses.

Glen Sagastume-Garcia was sentenced to 75 months in prison for sexually abusing an acquaintance in a Beaverton motel. He used force after initial consent, ignored her demands to stop, and was ordered to register as a sex offender.

Former Hillsboro Fire Lieutenant Steven Klaus was convicted of multiple sex crimes against a child and sentenced to 25 years. The abuse, involving hidden cameras and child sex abuse material, spanned years and locations. The victim displayed resilience.

Timothy Meeker, 72, pleaded guilty to sexually abusing two children and was sentenced to 100 months in prison. The abuse, spanning several years, was revealed through victim disclosures and investigations.

Daniel Rock was found guilty of child exploitation and luring. He was sentenced to 70 months in prison, ordered to register as a sex offender, have no contact with the victim, pay a $50,000 fine, and undergo sex offender training.
