The Oregon District Attorneys Association recently honored Washington County District Attorney Bob Hermann with the 2017 ODAA's first ever Distinguished Service Award. This award recognizes an elected District Attorney whose career has been dedicated to serving the citizens of his or her county and the State of Oregon.
Bob has served as a prosecutor in Washington County since 1975, becoming the elected DA in 1999. Bob has served actively on numerous committees, task forces, Boards and Councils locally, statewide and federally, working to improve all aspects of the criminal justice system. He has served as a Board member and President of the Washington County Bar Association and for 11 years as a Board member of the ODAA. He served as President of the Oregon District Attorneys Association in 2005 and 2015.
