Services Provided by Volunteer Victim Advocates
Volunteers and interns work alongside staff advocates to provide victims of crime the following services:
- Information about the criminal justice system
- Notification of court events and case status
- Court accompaniment throughout all stages of the criminal justice process
Victims of Crime
Volunteer victim advocates assist victims of many types of crime, including, but not limited to:
- Assault
- Domestic Violence
- Child Sexual and Physical Abuse
- Elder Abuse
- Vehicular Assaults
- Identity Theft
- Burglary
- Robbery
