This October the Washington County District Attorney's Office joins with our law enforcement and community partners in pledging critical resources and support for victims in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Domestic violence affects adults and children throughout our community. The Washington County DA's office is committed to holding offenders accountable and seeking justice for every victim in every case, regardless of race, gender, age, or status.
The DA's Office proudly supports the Family Justice Center of Washington County, a collaboration of public and nonprofit agencies that offers a full range of services to domestic violence victims and their children all under one roof. There are compassionate and dedicated professionals available 24/7 to help survivors of domestic violence. If you or someone you know is experiencing intimate or familial violence please contact law enforcement or one of the many resources available here in Washington County. Working together we can raise awareness, strengthen our community, and make domestic violence a thing of the past.
