
HILLSBORO, Ore- On February 11, 2025, a Washington County jury found Sergey Kustyukov guilty of four counts of burglary in the first degree, two counts of coercion, two counts of harassment, rape in the first degree constituting domestic violence, sexual abuse in the first degree constituting domestic violence, assault in the fourth degree constituting domestic violence, robbery in the third degree, theft in the first degree, interfering with making a report, and stalking. Senior Deputy District Attorney Gina Skinner and Deputy District Attorney Mackenna Krohn prosecuted this case before Judge Ricardo Menchaca.
On June 21, 2024, the defendant entered the victim’s apartment without her permission. He physically restrained her and would not let her leave. He was arrested and ordered to have no contact with her. The next day, he broke into the victim’s apartment and assaulted her as she slept near a young child. He then forced her into another room and raped her. He took her cell phone and the key to the apartment and told her she could not leave. The victim was able to escape and fled to a nearby convenience store where she called 911.
The Washington County District Attorney’s Office commends the work of the Beaverton Police Department on this case.
A sentencing hearing is scheduled for March 31, 2025. The defendant will remain in custody at the Washington County Jail pending sentencing.
