Our annual fundraising barbecue for our Victims' Emergency Fund during Crime Victims' Rights Week was once again a success. The event was supported by county employees, community and law enforcement partners and the public. We served nearly 400 people and raised over $8,000 for our emergency fund. These funds are used to help Washington County crime victims who have no other means to pay for things such as lock changes, moving expenses, food or school supplies, emergency transportation, etc.

Guest chefs this year included (left to right) Sheriff Pat Garrett, Juvenile Department Director Lynne Schroeder, Hillsboro Police Chief Lee Dobrowolski, District Attorney Bob Hermann and Bob Grover from Pacific Landscape Management.

DA Bob Hermann addresses the crowd.

Raffle baskets are always a big success! Thank you to our donors.

Thank you for your support of crime victims and our event and we'll see you next April for our 10th annual event!
